Baruipur 24 Pargana (South)
- Baruipur is a city and a municipality in South 24 Parganas district in the state of West Bengal, India. Baruipur is 25 km far from Sealdah Station. As per 2011 ensus of India Baruipur had a total population of 53,128, of which 26,718 (50%) were males and 26,410 (50%) were females. Population below 6 years was 3,763.
- Certain areas of South 24 Parganas district has been identified where ground water is affected by arsenic Contamination. A high level of arsenic in ground water was found in 12 blocks of the district. Water samples collected from tubewells in the affected places contained arsenic above the normal level (10 microgram a litre as specified by the World Health Organisation). Due to the illiteracy and unawareness each and every year so many people died from this areas include children. Northpointe Community India started Free Tuition Centre, Adult Literacy Center, Handicraft and Awarness Training Program here with the motto to aware children and the parents as much as possible about the dangerous and long term effects of arsenic.
Kulgachiya Howrah
- Kulgachia is a small town Panchayet of Howrah district in the state West Bengal, India. Over the last five years it has been changed, Populations are dramatically increased here nowadays. The Kulgachia area is estimated to have a population of 10,987,778. But as it is an unplanned Panchayet town right now and has been known to suffer from drainage problems during periods of heavy rain. Other persistent issues are erosion caused by the Damodar River and encroachment.
- The literacy rate of Kulgachiya is approx same as Bauria. Due to the overpopulation and unplanned infrastructure problems the town and its people suffering highly. Keeping that in mind Northpointe Community India started its Free Tuition Centre, Free Tailoring Training Program, Adult Literacy, Handicraft Training Program etc in Kulgachiya at least to help parents in getting education for their children.
